LCFIB has recently acquired a CD-ROM tower that enables various users to simultaneously access more than one CD.

Currently, the Oracle and Informix CDs are available.

Oracle

1. From any computer room PC running Windows 95, open an MS-DOS window and type: inidoccd
2. Go to the oracle\folder in r:
3. Here you can open the PDF file "aohome". This document has an index, so you can choose the part you wish to view.

Informix

Unix

You can use the man command in the Unix environment. For example, in order to find out how to use the Ipr command, type:

$ man lpr
