Adobe Acrobat 4.0

The LCFIB has recently acquired licences for the Adobe Acrobat 4.0 package, which can generate PDF format files. This file format is widely used by the Internet community for distributing documentation. Files generated in PDF format can be viewed with the freeware Acrobat Reader (available at www.adobe.com and www.adobe.es).

In addition to this, Adobe Acrobat 4.0 incorporates an OCR, and can import Postcript (.ps) format files to PDF, amongst other functions. Please use the application's help function to get to know its characteristics and functioning.
