Description of the wireless network

Last update: 19/03/2003

The network may be accessed by students and lecturers of the FIB from the computer rooms in buildings A5 and C6.

The network's infrastructure is compatible with the 802.11b standard. Access may therefore be gained with any device that is compatible with this standard.

Users may bring their own wireless cards if these are compatible with this standard, and gain access without requesting permission from the supervisors.

To facilitate access to the network, wireless cards may be borrowed. Simply request them from the computer room supervisors.
