Changes to personal transcripts

Last modified: 10-06-2002

Students wishing to continue the same course in a different school or university

Students can apply for admission directly to the school in question, without needing to ask for a place in the pre-enrolment process, as is specified by the Pre-enrolment Committee of the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia on 1 March 1996, as long as the following requirements are met: (RD 69/2000, BOE 22 January 2000):

  1. To have completed the first academic year of the course if taking a non-reformed syllabus.
  2. To have acquired 60 credits if taking a reformed syllabus.

Students who do not meet these requirements must apply through the pre-enrolment process.

Students will not be granted a change of personal transcript if all they have left to complete is their Final Thesis.

Students wishing to begin new studies that are not available at UPC at another university

There are several ways of obtaining a place:

  1. Via the pre-enrolment process.
  2. By applying directly to the school in question, if they have:
    • completed all the core and compulsory subjects of the first academic year,
    • completed the equivalent amount of credits, if at least 75% of these are for core and compulsory subjects of any given course.

Taking different courses simultaneously

Students wishing to combine different courses can get a place by following either of the two paths outlined in Section 4.2, with the additional express permission of the head or dean of the school in question, within the same established deadline.
