I have an ACME Net Internet connection at home. Can I access the LCFIB machines?

R: Yes, via proxy, but you need to follow the instructions given in the Access from outside the FIB.

In order to access the PC network, you must first connect to a UNIX server over ssh or telnet, and type:

smbclient //fissio/username -U username or smbclient //fusio/username -U username.
