Master's Degree in Information Technology (MTI)

Admission
The FIB offers 100 vacancies that will be distributed between the MTI and the second cycle of the degree in Informatics Engineering. Taking into account the preferences declared by the applicants, and according to the legal requirements, the FIB will take a final decision on the student's admission.

The Committee responsible for the MTI is in charge of taking a final decision on the students' admission. The following documents are required to be a registered student (only copies or electronic documents are required for the pre-admission process):
If you have studied previously in a Spanish University or in a UPC school (but not in the School of Informatics):
- Curriculum vitae.
- Copy of the DNI, NIE or passport.
- Original and photocopy (or registered photocopy) of the title preceding the master studies.
- Original and photocopy (or registered photocopy) of an academic certificate which must contain a list of all the courses that the student has followed, their qualifications and the number of credits/hours awarded for each of them. The degree's averaged qualification obtained by the student must also appear in this certificate.
- Any other document with relevant information on the expertise achieved in the areas related to the MTI (original and photocopy, or registered photocopy).
- Certificate on the student's knowledge of the english language.
If you have studied in a foreign university or high education institution:
- Curriculum vitae.
- Copy of the DNI, NIE or passport.
- Original and photocopy (or registered photocopy) of the homologation credentials of the title preceding the master studies.
- In case of a homologated degree, original and photocopy (or registered photocopy) of a document given by the university or the institution where the degree has been awarded or by the corresponding legal authority. The document must state that the training received by the student is of the same level as a bachelor's degree (a minimum 3 years degree which permits to access to a master's degree in that country). If this is not possible, the document must stress which would be the next high education level available for the student in that country.
- Original and photocopy (or registered photocopy) of an academic certificate which must contain a list of all the courses that the student has followed, their qualifications and the number of credits/hours awarded for each of them. The averaged qualification obtained by the student must also appear in this certificate, as well as relevant information about the qualification's system.
- Any other document with relevant information on the expertise achieved in the areas related to the MTI. (original and photocopy, or registered photocopy).
- Certificate on the student's knowledge of the english language.
- Very important: All documents drawn up in countries that do not belong to the EHEA must be legalized by the diplomatic service, or must include the corresponding footnote.
